Joined Barrington Terrace in 2008 “My family and I migrated to Naples from Philadelphia, PA in 1979 when I was transferred to one of only two healthcare communities in Naples; now there are many more. My background has been in geriatrics for over 40 years and counting. I love coming to work every day and have found Assisted Living extremely satisfying after many years in the Nursing Home Industry. I have 3 children and 7 grandchildren (five live nearby) and two cats. Making a difference in people's lives is an everyday challenge which is most rewarding for me.”

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2009  "I am a native of Western New York, and moved to the Fort Myers area over twenty-seven years ago to be closer to my parents and to enjoy the warm weather. I have been a Registered Nurse for more than thirty-six years and have worked in several different areas, including obstetrics, medical surgical specialty, Pheresis with the American Red Cross, assisted living facilities, and hospice services. I have five wonderful sons who are all grown and whom I am very close with. At the present time I have two beautiful granddaughters, hoping someday to have a lot more. I am a true dog lover and have both Pugs and Rottweilers. I am excited to be a part of the team at Barrington Terrace, and I truly look forward to coming to work every day. My passion is our residents and I enjoy making each day filled with superb quality of life and enjoyment for them."

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2008 "I am originally from Tiffin, Ohio. I moved here with my family in 1971. I know the area pretty well and I have seen a lot of changes take place here. I graduated from Cypress Lake Senior High, which is just around the corner from our facility. I married at Shell Point Village, which is just down the road from our facility. I have four children, all married, and four grandsons, so far, who all live in the area. I have operated three Christian book stores in Southwest Florida for over 26 years, and a children's consignment shop for 1 year. When I applied for the position at our facility I was in awe of the beauty of it, the openness, the airiness and I fell in love with it and my job. I enjoy a great deal being with the residents."

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2004 "I am married and have a teenage son and three beautiful labs, Boomer, Shannie and Datsy, all named after hockey players. I am a military veteran, serving 15 years in the Army, and I am an avid golfer with a love for baseball, football and hockey as well. I enjoy interacting with the residents here at Barrington Terrace and ensuring their billing needs are taken care of."

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2004 "I was born and raised in Pennsylvania, near the Poconos. I am married to my best friend, Jerry and we have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls, and 7 grandchildren, 5 boys and 2 girls. They all live in Pennsylvania. Jerry and I moved to Florida 14 years ago. I am an LPN and have taught CPR for the Red Cross. I am on the Ethics Committee for Lee Memorial at Cape Coral Hospital and belong to many area organizations. I have worked in sales and marketing for 14 years in the Fort Myers area and I enjoy photography, swimming, traveling and reading in my spare time."

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2010 "I joined Barrington Terrace of Ft. Myers in February, 2010 and have more than 10 years of experience in senior living. I was born in Middletown, Ohio, and moved to Barrington, IL, northwest of Chicago as an adult. My husband and I have 5 children and 8 grandchildren. We moved to Estero 11 years ago and brought his mother from West Palm to this coast to be closer. I am so happy to be part of a company which really believes in doing the very best for their residents. I truly enjoy being able to be out in the community and educating the community about the Barrington Terrace way of life. It's so nice to be with the best!"

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2009  "I am a native of Michigan and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Culinary Arts.   In my previous work experience, I was the Executive Chef for the Palm Restaurant in Chicago for three years.  I moved down to South Florida three years ago and worked as the Executive Chef for Charley's Crab of Ft. Lauderdale.  After that, I decided to open a restaurant of my own in Coral Springs, Florida.  Presently, I am living in Fort Myers to be closer to my family.  I enjoy working at Barrington Terrace and will provide the best food and attentive service that our residents deserve."

Joined Barrington Terrace in 2009  "I have lived in Fort Myers for fifteen years and am a retired athlete.  I remain thoroughly interested in physical fitness and pride myself as having a high energy personality.  I love the outdoors, and especially love to kayak.  I am also a die-hard fan of the New York Yankees.  I have been working in the maintenance field for more than fifteen years.  The staff at Barrington Terrace have made my position here as Maintenance Director very enjoyable.  In my personal life, I have been married for twenty-four years and we have three wonderful sons.  Two of my sons are currently serving in our Nation's military.  I also have a daughter from a previous marriage.  My wife and I are blessed with three beautiful grandsons and there is one more on the way!"
