Terrace Care Levels

Customize the healthcare at Barrington Terrace

At Barrington Terrace we offer levels of care to ensure that residents receive individualized assistance. Our Resident Care Director, a licensed nurse, determines the appropriate level of care for each resident by completing a comprehensive assessment of each resident's individual abilities and needs. These assessments are reviewed quarterly or as a resident's condition changes so that a resident's need and staff assistance are always aligned.

TERRACE LIVING (view rates)
All Barrington Terrace residents enjoy Terrace Living services and amenities which include:

• A state-of-the-art emergency call system
• 24-hour access to staff
• Three nutritious meals served in our beautiful dining room
• Snacks available throughout the day
• A variety of stimulating activities and social events led by a full time Activity Director
• Scheduled transportation
• All utilities except telephone
• Weekly housekeeping services
• Weekly laundering of bed and bath linens

Within each care level, we customize care to help each resident maintain his or her highest level of independence and ability. Because no two residents are the same, the following descriptions provide only general guidelines.

TERRACE SUPPORTIVE LIVING (view rates)
Designed for those who need minimal to moderate assistance with the essential activities of daily living such as bathing and grooming.

TERRACE ENHANCED LIVING (view rates)
Designed for those who need moderate to full assistance with many activities of daily living, as well as limited assistance with reminders and social support. This level does not include continence management.

TERRACE COMPREHENSIVE LIVING (view rates)
Designed for those who need full assistance with most activities of daily living and greater assistance with reminders or social support but not the structured environment of the Evergreen Memory Care Program. This level includes continence management and medication management.

"I am a native of Western New York, and moved to Fort Myers to be closer to my parents and to enjoy the warm weather. I have been a Registered Nurse for more than thirty-six years and have worked in several different areas including Pheresis with the American Red Cross, assisted living facilities, and hospice services.  I have five wonderful sons who are all grown and have two beautiful granddaughters, hoping someday to have a lot more.
